Carrefour enters the market of Uzbekistan in 2020
French retail giant Carrefour plans to enter the market of Uzbekistan in 2020 in partnership with the Majid Al Futtaim Group. Over the next 2 years, Carrefour aims to open 7 stores in Tashkent. With this move the retailer will create 2,500 new jobs – directly and indirectly – and give work to more than 600 local suppliers.
