For 2015, Internet traffic may increase to its twenty-fold

According to experts, until 2015, data traffic on the internet may increase approximately to its twenty-fold. The calculations are based on last year’s datas.

The German DE-CIX company that is operating central internet nods, forecasts that in 2015, 1.4 terabit per second (14 trillion bits) of data will flow through the network nodes. Last January, this was 700 gigabits (700 billion bits) per second – reports mfor.hu.
