2014: the year of the pear at the Budapest Pálinka Festival
The participants of the Budapest Pálinka Festival, that will be held between 15 to 18 May can choose from more than 400 kinds of distillates, where this year we will celebrate the year of pear.
The thematic series of the festival will continue in 2014 in which this time pear will be starring, after plum, peach and cherry. In addition to sweets and dishes inspired by the queen of fruits pear pálinka specialties will receive the most attention, including the Pear Pálinka of the Year, which is born from the blended distillation of the domestic distilleries. The audience can taste the Pear Pálinka of the Year for the first time here.
