Several acknowledgements and prizes for Dunapack in 2011
In the last few years significant changes occurred in the operation of the Dunapack Group. On the one hand, the company shifted its focus to corrugated product manufacturing, while on the other hand Dunapack’s ownership structure was simplified, to make processes faster and more flexible. As of 1 October 2011 Dunapack Plc. transformed into a limited liability company and with this change the process of integrating into the international Dunapack Group was completed. As regards packaging material trends, there are two significant directions in 2011: one is using cheap materials for the sake of cutting down on packaging costs; the other is using more and more sophisticated packaging materials and solutions (e.g. digital printing, UV-lacquer coating) because products have to sell themselves. A further aspect is the usage of cheap but environmentally friendly packaging materials. This is the reason why 98 percent of Dunapack Ltd.’s packaging materials are made from recycled waste paper. Our corrugated products are competing successfully in the food industry: at the 2011 Hungaropack competition our cheese in cup 2 in 1 offering box won Trade magazin’s special prize. Our fruit yoghurt collective tray won the special prize of the Confederation of Hungarian Employers and Industrialists and our curd dessert offering packaging was awarded with a diploma. This year Dunapack Ltd. won Superbrands Hungary’s Business Superbrands trademark for the second time. We believe that this qualification acknowledges our hard work in the last 20 years in the domain of environmentally friendly production technology. Together with our customer-centred approach and TQM processes, the satisfaction of our partners is guaranteed.
