German investments in Hungary are over 20 billion euros
The German companies have invested almost 21 billion euros in Hungary, making Germany the largest foreign investor in Hungary – Varga Mihály Minister for Economic Affairs told at the celebration event, organized on the occasion of the 20 years jubilee of the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry in Budapest on Thursday.
He added that Hungarian exports to Germany exceeded 20 billion euros for the first time in 2012.
The Minister for Economic Affairs, highlighted: Germany is traditionally the most important economic and trade partner of Hungary, so the Hungarian government attaches great importance to the relations with Germany. The Hungarian government acknowledges the achievements of the German industry, its role in the world economy and the positive impact of German investments for Hungary's economy – Varga Mihály pointed out.
