Zwack profit fell by 19 percent
In the first nine months of the 2009/2010 financial year, the Zwack Unicum Nyrt. had 3.2 billion HUF results beside 20.62 billion revenue. Revenue decreased by 13, profit by 19.1 percent, in an annual comparison.
The decrease in total revenue was beacause of the U.S. sales, since the boom of Zwack liqueur was significantly slower, after the first delivery, than planned. Italian, Romanian and Slovak market volume decreased, but this was offseted by the strengthening of the euro, while in the German market, the volume also increased. Own production sales fell by 14.3 percent, within the domestic sales – reports MTI.
