Within the framework of this call, livestock keepers can receive a total of HUF 19.2 billion in support in exchange for their tasks in maintaining protected indigenous and endangered agricultural animal species. The aim of the call is to maintain the viable stock of low-numbered, protected, indigenous, endangered agricultural and agricultural animal breeds undergoing breed reconstruction in their natural place, under the traditional keeping and feeding conditions of the breeds.
The interest in the support was beyond expectations
Compared to the previous similar assistance, significantly more livestock owners applied for support after a significantly larger number of animals, thus confirming that there is a real demand and need for the assistance, said the state secretary. In the past few days, in the first round, about 1,720 farmers were issued support documents, which entitle them to support for three years.
The state secretary emphasized that it is possible to join the tender one more time, and it will be possible to submit new grant applications between January 2-31, 2023. The commitment period for all beneficiaries lasts until December 31, 2024.
