SPAR shoppers help 1,800 children to start the school year

The joint school supplies collection campaign by the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta and SPAR Magyarország took place on 21-24 August.

Nearly 100,000 school supplies and equipment were collected in INTERSPAR stores, and customers also supported the cause with more than HUF 1.8m by purchasing the donation cards available since 1 August, helping 1,800 children in need. “Every child deserves the joy and security of starting school”, said Márk Maczelka, head of communications at SPAR.
