153 tons of food donations in 3 days
During the Hungarian Food Bank Association’s Christmas collection campaign, Tesco’s customers donated more food than ever to the needy in a value of 65 million HUF on the last weekend of November.
156 Tesco stores took part in the action. The 2,780 volunteers helped to gather a record amount of food products that will be enough to prepare a total of 381,888 portions of food. In addition to the customers of Tesco, the company has also contributed to the success of the action with an additional 15 million HUF. (MTI)
