GVH president
The President of the GVH has decided to set aside a one-time saving of HUF 150 million from this year’s budget, and to transfer the amount to the central budget to help alleviate the economic damage caused by the COVID-19 virus emergency and restart the Hungarian economy.
“2020th After taking office on 15 April, my first tasks included a review of the management of the Hungarian Competition Authority, our ongoing tasks this year, the resources available and our savings opportunities. In addition to fully performing our tasks planned for 2020, we expect a one-time saving of approximately HUF 150,000,000, which is approximately 6% of our budget. We will achieve savings by redistributing planned tasks, developing procedures more efficiently and introducing innovative solutions. The agency took on more tasks this year than last year, with less money and more frugal management. ”Said Balázs Csaba Rigó, the recently appointed President of the GVH, in response to a question.
