EUR 150bn for AI development in Europe
At the AI Action Summit in Paris this February the “EU AI Champions Initiative” was unveiled: this is a strategy to invest EUR 150bn in European AI start-ups over the next five years.

The initiative is led by General Catalyst and it aims to simplify regulation, improve infrastructure and educate the public about the technology, thereby increasing confidence in AI. Thousands of tech leaders, researchers and policymakers attended the event. //
