Retail Sales Up 15% in Russia

According to Rosstat, the Federal State Statistics Service in H1 Retail sales in Russia were up 15.2% year-on-year to around $269bn.

 Sales in June itself were up 13.8% to over 1.13trn
rubles ($48.6bn), with sales of food products accounting for 45.5% of
total sales. Sales for the month were up 1.0% when compared to May.
