Value of smartphone payments approaches HUF 1,400bn

Nearly HUF 1.4bn and 173 million transactions: this is the balance sheet for smart device payments at K&H over the past three years.

Between May 2023 and April 2024 57 million transactions were associated with spending of HUF 422bn. Two-thirds of K&H’s smart device transactions ( 66%) were made using Apple Pay, while Google Pay ranked second with a 33% share.
