135 million HUF donation to children living in extreme poverty
Within the Örökbe fogadok egy ovit! movement, small and large businesses distributed donations worth nearly HUF 135 million to children living in extreme poverty. In addition to 6,500 individuals, hundreds of domestic companies have joined the movement as adopters or as donors to several institutions in the past three years, thus helping 46,000 children with a difficult fate who are available through more than 800 institutions in their system.
(OFEO) in three years, with an operating cost of HUF 10 million, organized hygiene products, toys, furniture, and trips for underprivileged children’s communities worth HUF 135 million. And by the nearly 6,500 adopters who joined the movement, thousands of tons of clothes and toys were donated – and what is even more important – attention was focused on children in need.
The OFEO system includes more than 800 institutions through which we can support 46,000 children with a difficult fate. Since the start of OFEO in 2019, in addition to private individuals, hundreds of small and large businesses have joined as adopters or as donors helping several institutions, which have distributed a total of nearly HUF 135 million in donations to the children.
