Britvic 13% pre-tax profit increase
The company said its Irish drinks business, acquired from Magners maker C&C Group in August last year, was performing strongly, helping drive a 29pc increase in revenues to £455m in the six months to April 13.
A "resilient performance"
with market share gains across the majority of the company's brands
had helped it lift pre-tax profits to £17.2m.
Company wants to drive group earnings
growth through brand and product expansion, innovation, a continued
close focus on cost control, and the realisation of the benefits of
the outsourcing of retail distribution."
