Canada’s Saputo paid 1.3 billion dollars for British company Dairy Crest
Canada’s biggest milk processing company Saputo Inc. has agreed to buy Dairy Crest Group Plc. for USD 1.3 billion. With this move Saputo gains a foothold in Europe just months after acquiring Australia’s biggest dairy processor. Last year Dairy Crest already bought Australia’s Murray Goulburn for USD 1 billion.
