Tesco closes 13 stores in Hungary
Tesco announced the closure of 13 Hungarian stores. Tesco Hungary CEO Nigel Jones told that the step was necessary to ensure the long-term operation and profitability of the retail giant in Hungary. He added that the Hungarian market and consumers remain to be very important for the company, and serving 3 million Hungarian customers every week is an achievement Tesco is proud of. Tesco is now busy trying to find new jobs for the workers of closed stores in other units
