”123456″ — the most common password in Hungary in 2022
Based on NordPass research, the most popular password in Hungary in 2022 is “123456”. While in the case of Hungary this is the same as last year’s most common password, on a global scale the trend has taken a different direction – the most frequently used password worldwide is “password”.

Simple passwords rule
NordPass has just published the results of its annual research on the most common passwords. This year’s study scrutinized global password choice trends, as well as the differences in password usage habits between genders, as well as between the 30 countries included in the study. For the first time this year, NordPass also analyzed how pop culture trends influence the choice of passwords.
