The G1 humanoid robot will be available in Hungary from January, priced at 12 million forints. According to János Körömi, CEO of the distributor INFUZE Robotics, the robot will not completely replace human labor, but it will give companies time to prepare for the technological challenges of the future.

The G1 should be imagined as an advanced AI computer that is capable of performing complex movements and interacting. It maps its environment with laser radar, can talk, and can run and balance. Although the hardware is stable and versatile, developer expertise is required to exploit its unique capabilities. Therefore, the robot is primarily recommended for educational and research institutions, as well as companies that want to experiment with humanoid robotics.

The market launch was made possible by the development of several technologies: compact, powerful motors, high-performance batteries, precise sensors and enough computing capacity to control the robot’s 43 motors in real time. At the current price, the return can be measured more in marketing value, PR impact and workforce attraction.

Humanoid robots raise hopes in many people due to the labor shortage, but János Körömi emphasized: in the short term, there is no need to worry that they will massively replace human jobs. At the same time, the side effects of developments – such as technologies that imitate the movements of human hands and feet – may open up new opportunities in areas such as prosthetics production.

The company offers the G1 EDU version for educational purposes, on which individual programs can be run and large language models can be integrated, so the robot can even become a “learning partner” for future engineers.

The G1’s smaller sibling, the R1, will arrive in 2026, with an expected starting price of 5 million forints. This model is shorter (120 cm), but will have similar capabilities.
