110 billion comes to tourism in 2009 and 2010
For this year and for next year, 110 billion HUF EU funding will be available, for the development of Hungarian tourism – said Kovács Miklós, Secretary of the Local Ministry, on a press conference in Budapest.
Between 2007 and 2013, 300 billion HUF is available for the development of Hungarian tourism, if the National Tourism Strategy will be carried out, in an optimal manner.
According to the Secretary; currently 8.8 percent of the GDP comes from tourism in Hungary. The industry provides employment, for about 400 thousand people – reports privatbankar.hu.
