1.1 tons of collected plastic bottles and rain of prizes
Henkel and Rossman organized the sustainability promotion of the popular “Game for a greener future” for the 7th time last year. The initiative won second place in the Non-food category in the Trade Magazin’s Promotion of the Year competition, and also received a special prize for Sustainability.
Sustainability plays a central role in Henkel’s corporate values, an important pillar of which is to inspire and equip the next generation to implement the changes that contribute to creating a more livable future. With the “Play for a greener future” campaign, Henkel supports nurseries, kindergartens and primary schools.
As part of the promotion, customers can drop off their empty Henkel product bottles in nearly 220 Rossmann stores nationwide. In exchange for the empty bottles, they receive a code with which they can vote for a nursery, kindergarten or primary school of their choice, and the institution that receives the most votes receives valuable support. Since 2016, the promotion has become more and more popular every year, and the parent communities are preparing for the collection in a united, organized manner.
