1.1 million international and 1.3 million domestic guest

The public accommodation establishments registered by 3 percent more tourism nights in comparison with the data of the same period of the previous year. The gross income of public accommodation establishments grew by 7 percent at current prices.

The occupancy rate of hotelrooms progressed: it was 42% in
the same period of 2006, while now it is 44%. The turnover of public
accommodation establishments rose by 7% to HUF 84 billion. Number of
international guests was 1.1 million, and they spent 3.1 million tourism nights
in Hungary.

As for inland tourism, number of guests was 1.3 million,
while the number of tourism nights was 3 million. Guest-number shows 5% growth,
while the number of tourism nights increased by 9%.
