Nestlé Portugal Invests €11m In Organic Snacks Production Line For Babies
Nestlé has announced that it has invested around €11 million in a new production line for organic snacks for babies in its facility in Avanca in Portugal.
The new line has a production capacity of 80 cans per minute, or 130 kilograms of snacks per hour, which will efficiently meet the company’s needs over the next 15-20 years, according to a report in Jornal de Negocios.
Besides the national market, Nestlé Portugal will supply the products manufactured in this facility to more than 30 countries across the globe.
Elsewhere, the global food giant has announced that its Nestlé Junior line has removed added sugars from its products without compromising the nutritional benefits.
