Liquor stores in settlements with a population of between 1,000 and 2,000 that have not yet closed their business year can also apply for the 3 million grant
Liquor stores operating in small settlements with a population of between one thousand and two thousand people that have started operating within a year can also apply for non-refundable funding for energy efficiency improvements, marketing, equipment purchases and operating costs, even wages. As part of the Hungarian Village Program, which serves to strengthen rural small businesses, a 3 million forint application fund will be available to them from May 26.
The new call represents a further extension of the program announced by the Kisfaludy2030 Turisztikai Fejlesztő Nzrt., the application manager, for operators of small rural pubs at the end of February, so that support for liquor stores in the affected small settlements is available to as wide a circle as possible.
The HUF 3 million fund is open to operators of liquor stores in settlements with a population of between 1,000 and 2,000 people that have not yet completed a business year, are open all year round and have registered with the National Tourism Data Service Center (NTAK). Service providers can apply through the NTAK system until June 16, and customer service will also assist them during the application process. The call will be available on the kisfaludyprogram.hu website from May 26.
The aim is that the support, in addition to simple application and quick administration, effectively contributes to the development of new village pubs, wine bars and espresso bars, thereby strengthening the communities and population retention capacity of rural settlements.
Therefore, with the publication of the new call, the opportunity to support small pubs operating in settlements with a population of between 1,000 and 2,000, registered in the NTAK and already having a closed business year is still open. Although the original deadline for the call for proposals was May 23, the extension allows these service providers to apply for the resource serving the development of liquor stores until June 16.
