100 products have reduced their prices in PENNY
PENNY has permanently reduced the prices of nearly 100 products since January 2025, to keep more in the wallets of Hungarian families. The affected products have become more affordable by up to 40%, which can mean an average price reduction of 8%, i.e. above inflation. The price drop covers several essential categories, including fresh food, pet food, cleaning and hygiene products.

“One of the most important aspects for us is to provide quality to Hungarian families at budget-friendly prices, which is why this year we have permanently reduced the prices of nearly 100 products in various product categories that can be essential in Hungarian households,”
– said Eszter Kazatsay, Head of Communications at PENNY Hungary.
Since January, the prices of eggs, meat products, and dairy products have also been permanently reduced in PENNY stores, and customers can access more seasonal vegetables and fruits that support winter health at more favorable prices. Canned dog and cat food for pets can also be purchased at reduced prices, and the price change also affects everyday hygiene products, including washing gel and various cleaning and hygiene products. Thanks to the permanently low prices, an average of 8% more remains in the wallets of the affected consumer goods, which can mean up to 40% per product.
