With a brand value of over 100 billion dollars, Samsung was chosen as one of the five best brands in the world
Samsung has been named among the world’s top five brands by Interbrand for the fifth year in a row. The internationally recognized brand consulting company annually publishes the Best Global Brands list, which includes the best international brands. This year’s list revealed that the company’s brand value reached 100.8 billion dollars, which represents a 10% increase compared to the previous year.
The significant increase in Samsung’s brand value resulted from its boom in the AI industry, especially its prominent role in the field of artificial intelligence within devices, and its competitiveness in the semiconductor sector. The company was ranked among the best for the first time in 2020, with 62% growth in four years, and since then is the only Asian company to be among the world’s top five brands.
“We take a holistic approach to AI and aim to bring this rapidly evolving technology into the hands of Samsung users. This year’s significant increase in the company’s brand value is mainly due to our efforts in this direction, said YH Lee, Samsung’s president and international marketing director. “In the future, we will build even more on the features that our users have come to love and expect from us.”
The company was recognized for its AI in its devices, improved connected experiences and its role in the AI industry
According to Interbrand, the following factors increased Samsung’s brand value:
Implementation of AI technologies on their most important devices and its role in the AI industry.
Enhanced connected experiences offered by its AI-powered interfaces and devices.
The outstanding role of AI is based on the competitiveness of the semiconductor industry.
Implementation of a consistent brand strategy in the international market.
A long-term commitment to a more sustainable future.
This year, Samsung expanded its AI technology product portfolio with the vision of AI For All for even better user experiences. With the introduction of the Galaxy S24 series, the company also plays an important role in the field of mobile AI, and also presented AI TVs equipped with AI-based processors and AI Upscaling technology, as well as Bespoke AI devices that make the everyday life of users easier.
