Lidl launches Ireland’s first 100-percent compostable bag for potatoes
Lidl Ireland has introduced the first fully compostable potato bag in the country, in cooperation with Meade Potato Company. The 2kg packs of Meade White Potatoes feature packaging made from FSC-certified sustainable paper, strengthened with starch. The net in the bag is made of corn starch and the printing uses water-based ink.//
