Hotel revenues in the capital increased by about 20 percent last year
The gross hotel revenue of the commercial accommodation units increased by 20 percent last year to 139.8 billion forints, compared to 2016. 96.5 percent of the revenues, 134.9 billion forints were realized in hotels – the Budapest Festival and Tourist Center (BFTK) told MTI.
According to their information, last year, the number of guest nights exceeded 10 million in the capital, where more than 4.2 million guests were accommodated. The number of guest nights exceeded an annual 10 million in Budapest for the first time. (MTI)
