KSH: agricultural producer prices increased by 0.6 percent in May
Agricultural producer prices increased by 0.6 percent in May, compared to the previous year. The increase is due to a 4.6 percent increase in the price of vegetable products and a 6.4 percent decline in live animal and animal products prices – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Thursday.
Cereals prices increased by 10.0 percent in May, compared to May 2017, after the 10.7 percent of April and 10.2 percent of March. Prices for fruits and vegetables grew both by 7.9 percent. The price of potatoes decreased by 3.7 percent in one year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported. (MTI)
