KSH: In July, accommodation revenues of foreigners grew by 30.1 percent
In July, accommodation revenues from foreigners were 30.1 percent more than a year before, while domestic guests spent 8.1 percent more on accommodation charges this year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Monday.
In the first seven months of the year, hotels reached 17.1 percent more 253 billion 554 million HUF gross turnover at current prices. Within this, accommodation revenue increased by 19.5 percent to 151 billion 822 million HUF.
The number of nights spent by foreign guests increased by 2.6, while the number of domestic guest nights increased by 0.7 percent, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
