KSH: consumer prices increased by 3.4 percent
Consumer prices were 3.4 percent higher on average in July than in the previous year and 0.3 percent on average in June – according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
A price increase higher than in July was last recorded in January 2013, with a rate of inflation of 3.7 percent.
In the first seven months, consumer prices increased by 2.5 percent on average, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
