e-Bay: nearly 21 billion USD in three months
The company was able to increase its turnover compared to the same period of last year. This year the turnover of the site increased by two percent to 20.9 billion USD, which is below the analyst’s expectations – portfolio.hu wrote.
The company’s revenue was 2.2 billion USD, which is an increase of four percent. EBay earned 1 billion USD in profits, which is more than double of the result of the previous period, but this is due to a technical tax effect. Operating income was 546 million USD, 68 million USD less than in the first quarter of 2016, but still reached a 24.6 percent operating margin. (portfolio.hu)
