The non-performing loans decreased significantly in the region
The stocks of non-performing loans (NPL) in the Central and Eastern European region of non-performing bank loans in 2015 decreased significantly to 49 billion euros, due to the attractive macroeconomic environment.
Bíró Balázs, leading Central and Eastern European partner of Deloitte portfolio management, advisory services told at the company’s press conference in Budapest on Thursday that according to a recent analysis by Deloitte, the non-performing loan portfolio in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region became 49 billion euros, together with the Baltic countries a total of 51 billion euros in 2015, which is coinciding with the regionally declining trend experienced since 2014.
