The Hungarian seed sector remains in the forefront of the world with innovations

Hungarian seed production is operating at a high level, with great efficiency and innovatively, this advantage must be preserved for the next quarter century – was said at the 25-year jubilee conference of the Seeds Association Interprofessional Organization and Product Council.

The Seed Alliance Award was awarded for the first time, to Dr. Balikó Sándor, retired manager of the Bólyi Agricultural Producer and Trading Company.

“The domestic seed sector is one of the most professional agricultural sectors in Hungary. Its professional quality and results are internationally recognized, its outstanding export performance, and uninterrupted demand for Hungarian seeds mean an economic support. Knowledge, diligence and attention of generations of professionals have built up this recognition” – Dr. Feldman Zsolt, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture emphasized in his greeting.
