Fazekas: Hungarian wines can be appreciated due to the loss of grape production in three European countries
As in Hungary, the extreme weather also had an impact on grapes in Spain, Italy and France. As a result, 10 to 20 percent less grapes will be produced, which appreciates Hungarian wines which is hopeful for exports – Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture told M1 news channel on Wednesday.
The minister added that Hungarian grape production has shifted towards fashionable, quality varieties over the last few years, and he consider it a great achievement, for example, that the Cserszegi Spicy and Irsai Olivér has also gained ground, thanks also to the reduction of imports. (MTI)
