Romania imports more and more food products
Last year, the Romanian agricultural trade deficit was 853.9 million euros, 53 percent higher, compared to last year’s 557.4 million euros – the Romanian Ministry of Agriculture announced on Sunday.
Romania last year exported 6.23 billion euros worth food products, which represents a 4.6 percent increase in annual comparison. However, the value of food imports rose twice faster, by 9 percent to 7.1 billion. (MTI)
