Agro-research cooperation between Ghana and Hungary
With the Hungarian agricultural research results agriculture in Ghana can be developed – the National Agrarian Research and Innovation Center (NAIK) told MTI on Wednesday, after an agricultural research and educational cooperation agreement was conlcluded between the two countries.
Gyuricza Csaba, Director-General of the National Center for Agricultural Research and Innovation, emphasized in a communication that in Hungary the yield of maize can be up to 8 tonnes per hectare, while in Ghana 1.5 to 2 tonnes and to improve the results a sample farm will be created in Ghana soon.
