Salary replaced job security as the top priority
For Hungarian employees salary was the most important job choice factor already in 2014 – reports Randstad, but if current international trends prevail this can become even more dominant in 2015. According to the Randstad Award 2014, 41 percent of Hungarians would decide which job to take based on the salary. Sándor Baja, managing director of Randstad Hungary told that during the years of recession job security had been the most important job choice factor. Randstad Award is the world’s biggest independent employer branding study. It analyses many aspects, for instance in 2014 the study found that in choosing a job men are more motivated by the chance to be promoted than a good workplace atmosphere, while women focus on flexible working time and a good work-life balance.
