In 2009 the domestic average net earning was 124 thousand HUF
According to the Central Statistical Office; The real income in January-December of 2009 beside the 4.2 percent increase of the consumer price index, decreased by 2.4 percent.
The number of employed in January-December 2009, was an average 2 million 661 thousand.
In the public sector 748 thousand people worked, in the competitive around 1.82 million. This is a 3.7 percent decrease in the number of employees.
On national level, the average net earning was 124 100 HUF, including physical workers: 91 800 HUF and intellectual workers: 157 700 HUF.
