American women like Glenlivet whiskey

Pernod Ricard, producer of Chivas and Glenlivet announced that half of the new Scottish malt whiskey sales came from American women’s purchases after the company reduced the price and simplified the packaging – origo wrote.

According to the commercial data of the non-profit organization monitorin US spirits, bourbon and rye whiskey sales increased by eight percent in 2016, while Irish whiskey sales increased by nearly 19 percent. (origo)
