Falling tomato prices
According to the recent data, fruit and vegetable imports from third countries significantly increased in the European Union in the last year.
The biggest jump occured in South Africa and in Chile. In connection with the data, the FEPEX, representing the Spanish fruit and vegetables and flower growers has urged the European Commission to take action against Morocco that is responsible for the falling European tomato prices.
