Vöslauer: the brand involved in climate change
The family-owned company is carbon neutral from 2020, five years ahead of schedule.
Climate protection is one of the most challenging issues of our time, requiring the active cooperation of companies as well as political intervention in order to achieve the climate policy goals of the Paris Climate Change Summit.
– At Vöslauer, we have been working for sustainability for 15 years, focusing on topics related to environmentally friendly and resource-efficient production. We wanted to reduce not only the environmental impact of our products, but also the amount of harmful substances emitted during the production processes. In this context, we are very pleased to be able to achieve our two main sustainability goals this year, five years ahead of schedule: our PET bottles are already made from 100% rePET (recycled PET) for our entire range and our production has become carbon neutral. . We firmly believe that, as a company, we must be involved in promoting sustainable development at all levels, explains Birgit Aichinger, Managing Director of Vöslauer.
