VM: According to the Hungarian-French agricultural working group the EU budget is acceptable
The Hungarian-French Working Group on Agriculture and Rural Development assessed the EU budget for the 2014-2020 period as acceptable – the Rural Development Ministry (VM) informed MTI on Friday.
At the tenth meeting of the working group, the main themes were the reform of the common agricultural policy, and important bilateral cooperation opportunities.
At the meeting in Paris, both sides stressed that compared to the current period lower reaches amount will be spent on agriculture therefore its is necessary to ensure every eurocents will arrive to the farmers. Easily enforceable EU agricultural policy is needed that does not lead to the growth of financial and administrative burden on farmers – told the Rural Development Ministry (VM). (MTI)
