Financial support for rural hospitality units
At the beginning of September, the third phase of the HUF 13bn funding scheme by the Hungarian government for rural catering businesses ended. In the fourth phase, rural cafés and non-alcoholic drinks outlets are targeted, with a further 1,000 places having the chance to receive money from the total budget of HUF 1bn. As part of the government programme owners can apply for a maximum of HUF 1m in non-repayable grants per business.
