This year has shown how vulnerable the world has become as a result of globalization and how important self-sufficiency is. It became clear that Hungary’s agriculture and food industry survived the most difficult pandemic period – the Deputy Minister of Agriculture said at the opening of the 11th Danube-Tisza Agrárexpo.

In his speech, Farkas Sándor reminded that in addition to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s weather also put farmers under a serious test.
