Wincor Nixdorf presented new cash desk solutions
Fifty-nine IT managers of store chains and banks got acquainted with cost-effective and quick cash desk solutions, at the headquarters of the Wincor Nixdorf company in Paderborn, Germany at the “Wincor World 2010” presentation on Thursday.
Hungarians also had the greatest interest in a world premiere: cash-handling costs can be reduced by about 20 percent, with the new CINE cash systems, presented for the first time.
Szücs Viktor, Hungarian key account manager of Wincor Nixdorf explained the heart of the system: – With the new solution, money will be put in certified cassettes at the cashiers of the stores, that are storing the banknotes and coins counted. Thus, it becomes unnecessary to bring the money in bags, count, certify, transfer and take it over.
In Europe and in the U.S.A., the cost of cash treatment in trade per year is estimated at 500 billion USD.
It is envisaged that if the CINE system will spread, the hypermarket treasury can be transferred directly to operating bankomats in the vicinity of the hypermarket.
On the presentation held between 26th and 28th January Wincor Nixdorf hosted 7 thousand clients from all over the world.
Beside the cash management revolution, other new developments were also presented, including self-service cash desks, security systems, the use of customer data, loyalty increase.
