New markings inform about the use of potato
New varieties (A, B, C) markings inform customers that the potatoes they wish to buy are suitable mainly for baking, cooking or pastry making – the Deputy Chairman of the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) told M1 news channel.
Jordán László about the marking of potatoe in use since 1 September told that the A type of potato is falling apart during cooking, the type B includes baked varieties, while C is primarily for puree or pasta and chips because during cooking its is falling apart. (MTI)
