Purchasing willingness continues to be small
The rise of the consumer confidence and purchasing willingness indices of Gfk Hungária and the Corvinus University, came to a halt in third quarter. The Index of Consumer Expectations is increasing further, just like in the previous quarters.
The increase of the Consumer Confidence Index slowed down in the third quarter of 2010, now it is standing on 175.7 points. The Consumer Expectations Index increased by 6 points, the present value is 224.7 points. In 2010, continuous growth can be observed in the evolution of the index. The increase is due to the country's improved economic situation and the short-and long-term outlooks. By contrast, households expectations for next year's financial situation have not changed.
