The rules on smoking to be tightened further in Italy
According to the announcement of the Italian Ministry of Health, smoking will be tightened in Italy, as well as the rules of packaging: shocking images to be placed on the packages to deter smokers from smoking.
Smoking will be prohibited in cars, if minors and pregnant women will also travel in the vehicle. Put aromas into cigarettes will be illegal as well as the sales of maxi packet of cigarettes.
In addition, “child-resistant” packaging will be introduced, while 65 percent of the surface of the cigarette packs should be covered by shocking images to deter smokers from smoking. (MTI, Sárközy Júlia)
