Business and sustainability
At online marketplace foodfinder.hu food from hospitality units in Budapest can be saved from being wasted – at very good prices. Áron Kovács and Marco Máté launched the site in the autumn of 2019 and they are working with 12 partners at the moment.
The founders say that the business can become profitable with more than 100 partners and 1,000 active buyers. Offers are usually shared on the platform 2-3 hours before closing, so visiting it is best between 17.00 and 20.00. The minimum price reduction is 40 percent.
